The Collection

Dúchas, the Irish word for heritage or innate identity, has become a guiding thread throughout my practice. It speaks to the stories, landscapes, and quiet rhythms that shape who we are - threads passed down through generations, often felt long before they’re understood. In my work, dúchas becomes both anchor and compass: a way of honouring the cultural memory that lives in place, gesture, and instinct, while also reimagining it through paint and composition. Each piece is an exploration of belonging - where we come from, what we carry, and how those layers create our sense of home in the world.
